Liverpool LSCP believe that Families keep children safe but that sometimes they may need some help to do this from professionals. It is the LSCP's role to ensure that when professionals work with Families to Safeguard Children the work is done to a high standard and we all work well together to give Children and their Families the best service possible.

We have developed the Responding to Need Guidance and Levels of Need Framework to ensure that children’s needs are responded to at an appropriate level and in a timely way. This should be used by all agencies, professionals and volunteers, when considering how best to meet the needs of individual children. (See Useful Documents).

Working and Training Together to make a difference

We also have a training programme offering a wide range of training opportunities for all those working with children, young people and their families.

All our training courses are multi agency and free of charge to most organisations. Local Practitioners working with children, young people and their families are encouraged to attend.

Monthly Spotlight On….sessions. –  sixty minute briefings, each one with a different focus.
