VIP (Visually Impaired People) Club.

The VIP club is held every Tuesday from 10am - 4pm, for the blind and partially sighted people of Merseyside. We deliver adapted sports and physical activity such as cycling, football, cricket, goal ball, running, walking and much more, adapted for people with visual impairments. They can also get involved with mindfulness, meditation, dance, yoga, independent living, quizzes, games, healthy cooking and much more.

Other activities include music: singing and music instruments. Why not join our Daisy Choir? Daisy is a great place to keep fit and make friends. The centre is fully inclusive and accessible and has trained staff and volunteers who are experienced in the needs of blind and partially sighted people. We use a person-centred approach to tune in to the frequency of our VIPs, finding out where they are now, where they want to go and how they can get there . Three of our key objectives are Sports, Education and Employment. Our vision is to thrive, be happy and to make long lasting friendships. We ensure no one is discriminated against because of who they are, ensuring a truly diverse and inclusive environment.

All ages from 16+ and all abilities are welcome.

While our Tuesday session is primarily for people with visual impairments, they are also welcome throughout the rest of the week and at our regular Daisy events.

Food and refreshments are available.

Anyone under 16 can attend our Mini-SMILE club, which caters for VI and disabled children.  This runs:

School Term Time:   Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4 - 6 PM

School Holidays:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm - 4pm

Please note that we also deliver Visual and Disability Awareness Training for relevant organisations through our "Sports and In the Workplace" training session.

We really are the Can-Do Charity that Does.
