Christ the King Catholic Primary School
Christ the King Catholic Primary School is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to achieve endless possibilities. With Christ at the centre, children are at the heart of every decision we make to ensure that they are safe, happy, independent and confident and that the opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and for the future. Through our broad and engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity of the world around them, which will develop high aspirations and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that all children receive a well-rounded curriculum, where individual talents can be spotted and nurtured to ensure that all children experience success and reach their full potential.
Our school has a talented and dedicated team that works hard to reach high standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with our families, our Parish and the local community. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home, school and parish and regard you as an active partner in your child's education and value your interest and support. For further information please visit our school website.
We were awarded 'Centre of Excellence' Status by the Inclusion Quality Mark team in May 2018 and this was renewed in June 2019 and are working towards Flagship status over the next two years. In January 2020 we were awarded the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools ‘School Mental Health Award’ – Gold Status. We are very proud of both accreditations and continue to strive to develop our practice in these areas.
