Stroke Association Childhood Stroke Support

Childhood Stroke Support provides information, advice and support to families and professionals affected by Childhood Stroke.  We can speak to people by phone (0303 3033 100) or through video calls online.   If it suits better we can communicate  by email childhoodstroke@stroke.org.uk

If it helps, Parents can speak to other Parents who understand the experience and journey through childhood stroke. This is via our ‘Parent To Parent Volunteer Calls’ offer

There are videos and booklets on our website that help explain what’s happened.  Families tell us these are really helpful to explain to a child, and their siblings, what has happened to them

Our service is free, UK wide, and available to all who wish to use it.   We are passionate about helping people understand childhood stroke

Information on the webpages is downloadable with leaflets explaining Childhood Stroke to adults.   There are toolkits for schools and other professionals that contain information and practical advice
