Paws for Kids- Endeavour Project

A North West Charity designed to support people and their pets escape from a life of violence and abuse to a better and caring future.
The Endeavour project is run by Paws for Kids a ground-breaking charity who aim to relieve the pressures on families escaping domestic violence by providing:
1. Temporary fostering of pets belonging to these families
A child-centred service to help reduce the long-term effects of witnessing or experiencing domestic violence.
It is widely acknowledged that children from families where domestic violence is prevalent may be deeply affected by witnessing violence to their parent, siblings or pets, whether or not they are themselves victims of an assault.
In families where there is domestic violence pets are often threatened, injured or killed as a means of keeping power and control over their partner and their children.
Pet fostering is provided in the North West- for the pets of women, men and children who need to access refuge or temporary accommodation because of Domestic Abuse.
