Rainbow House Nursery
Rainbow House is a long established private day nursery situated in the heart of Walton and serving many parents living in our busy locality and further afield. Our team of staff are all committed to providing the best of care for each and every child. The core of staff are fully qualified to level 3 in Childcare and attend a variety of continuous appropriate training. For many years,we have had weekly visits from excellent specialist teachers of Spanish and music and movement. We regularly have four week visits from the local children's centre who come in and carry out activities such as funky movers, dental hygeine, healthy eating and chatterbox sessions.
We have a full time chef to prepare and cook nutricious meals from fresh ingredients from a 4 week menu with fresh fruit and vegetables from a local supplier. The menu is designed to give children their correct daily intake of fruit and vegetables throughout the week.
We offer places to children aged 0-5 years between 3 main rooms and have some free places available for 2 year olds subject to certain criteria and availability. Also 3 & 4 year olds receive 15 government funded hours weekly(term time only) or stretched across the year at 10 hours per week . Children are eligible the term after their 2nd or 3rd birthday. These hours will double to 30 hours from Sept '17 for working parents and again subject to certain criteria.
We have a safe enclosed garden to the rear of our nursery which has a soft surface particularly suitable for our younger children. There is also an area to the front which is fenced securely and the gate is locked when our older children are playing there.
You are welcome to telephone or simply pop in and discuss your child's particular needs and nursery requirements. You will be shown around, any questions will be answered and meet our friendly team.
