Comics Youth (Saturday Drop-in)
Our mission is to provide a voice for marginalized young people including care leavers, LGBTQIA YP, SEND YP, looked after children, young carers, and young people experiencing mental ill-health by providing them the tools to express themselves, improve their literacy, speak truth to power and have their voices heard through publishing zines and comics about salient community issues.
Junior Session times:
11:30 until 1:30 for 8 to 14/15-year-olds.
learn how to make comics, plan a zine, practice your art, get an idea off the ground, and browse our ever-growing library of comics.
Senior Session times:
2:00 till 4:00 for 15/16 to 21-year-olds.
Come for a safe social hang out space where you can use our art materials, play some games, read some comics, listen to some music, and see friends in a friendly and welcoming environment.
