Mary Seacole House is now open. Our offices are open 2 days per week at present. We are still also currently delivering services online. You can contact us by landline or email and face to face meetings need to be booked in advance.
Mary Seacole House is a multicultural mental health charity and a resource service for people from primarily BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee) communities who are living with mental health issues and who also encounter racism or discrimination in their day to day lives.
Mary Seacole House offers a wide and varied range of support aiming to develop the confidence of people using the service.
Support can be delivered on a one to one basis or within a group setting. Within the group sessions we offer activity based learning and development as well as leisure and relaxation sessions.
Services we provide:
Individuals have access to emotional and practical support, including a range of activities which will promote independence and offer the opportunity to learn new skills.
The Advocacy Service endeavours to address the needs of our culturally diverse communities within the Liverpool area, along with providing community based services which primarily supports and encourages people from BAMER (Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic and Refugees) communities to challenge inappropriate practices and treatment within the mental health system and health & social care system.
BAMER Family Service
Family support service for Black, Asian, Minorities Ethnic and Refugee communities within Liverpool to address Mental Health and Wellbeing.
We provide emotional and practical support for BAMER families, providing language support, cultural support, education and training, advocacy and advice.
* Online Zoom classes, sessions, health and peer support - all with language support (Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish and French) if available.

Referrals can be made by Community Mental Health Teams, Housing Associations, other agencies, family, friends or self.

Our main telephone line 0151 707 0319 is being manned 9.00-4.00pm Monday-Friday. Although we can only pass messages on through this line, all service users will have the contact numbers for their keyworker’s mobiles.
