We are an inclusive organisation that caters for people both with and without a disability. We are affiliated to Phab Ltd, a national charity that promotes inclusion and we form a network of more than 150 Phab Clubs across England & Wales. At Phab Liverpool we have a dedicated an experienced team of volunteers, several of whom have been involved with Phab for more than 25 years. We believe through our knowledge and experiences we have a great blend to help ensure our organisation is able to provide an environment where our members feel valued, welcome and safe.
All of our projects are inclusive for people of all abilities and we are dedicated to ensuring our members enjoy their time at Phab Liverpool. Our philosophy is that a disability should not deter a person from leading a fulfilling and exciting lifestyle and our projects are designed to make sure our members, including our most vulnerable members are all able to make more of life together.
Our main project, Phab @ The Ark is a social and friendship group for people of all abilities that are aged 16 or over. We meet most Tuesday's at L'Arche Liverpool, where members can enjoy activities such as arts and craft, board games, table tennis and boccia.
We also run a pan-disability football project, that is for any person with a disability that is aged 16 or over. We have monthly training sessions and our team also participate in the Merseyside Day Centre League.
