ATE Superweeks

ATE is a charitable not-for-profit organisation which runs residential holidays, called Superweeks, for children aged 8-16, as well as term-time activities for schools and imaginative experiences & events especially for children.
ATE seeks to contribute to children’s education by providing opportunities to learn about themselves and other people and to discover new things about the world around them. We provide children with a safe, supportive environment away from the pressure of ‘real life’ in which ATE cultivates child-focused holidays where days are play-packed and leave a child with memories that we believe are essential to a happy childhood. We achieve this by having a deep rooted, traceable history in education, and running intensive residential training courses for the volunteers who care for the children.
ATE welcomes all children, and runs a sponsorship scheme, known as The Adventure Appeal, to ensure that disadvantaged children can also benefit from Superweeks. ATE works closely with schools to allocate these places.

- Other notes
We can care for children with additional needs and we can cater for special diets, however, in that instance, we do ask that you get in touch with the office as soon as you can so that we can ensure that we can care for your child, and to make sure that a Superweek is the right environment for them. Unfortunately, however, we are unable to care for children who need to use a wheelchair.
