We offer practical and emotional support for parents having trouble maintaining relationships with their children as a result of family breakdown.
We want to reach out to parents in this situation, to try to relieve their distress and suffering and to support them in caring for themselves and moving forward.
We hold monthly evening meetings in Liverpool city centre where parents can meet others in similar situations, tell their stories and gain support from each other. We can signpost them to specialist organisations and support them in preparing documents and presentations.
We do not offer legal or medical advice, although there may be a solicitor present at group meetings.
We have as our guiding principle the wellbeing of children We wish to help them maintain relationships with both parents and the wider family, unless this is pronounced by the courts to be not in their best interests.
