Banks Road Primary School is an inclusive school who cater for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities across the four broad areas of the Code of Practice (2015).
The school adopts a 'whole child-whole school' approach to managing the needs of children with SEND.
We use a 'graduated approach' to both SEND and Mental Health, with early identification at the heart of practice to help overcome barriers to learning.
We are part of a SEND Consortium and use a '3 Step Model' to ensure consistency in practice when following the ASSESS-PLAN-DO-REVIEW cycle.
