Child Adolescent Mental Health Service: CAMHS
There are a number of services which make up Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) at Alder Hey:
CRISIS CARE
The Crisis Care team offer 24/7 advice, consultation and intervention for children and young people age 0-18 with a Liverpool or Sefton GP. The team also support parents/carers or professionals involved in a young persons care.

Referrals to the Eating Disorder Team
Professionals can download the referral form here. Self referrals or referrals from parents can be made to the eating disorder team via Make-referral (seftonliverpoolcamhs.com)
All referrals are reviewed on a daily basis and triaged as appropriate. We aim to see urgent referrals will be seen within 7 days of referral, and routine referrals within 28 days of referral.

MAKING A REFERRAL
Referrals to Liverpool and Sefton CAMHS
Referrals for young people with a Liverpool or Sefton GP can be made via Make-referral (seftonliverpoolcamhs.com) – we also accept referrals from Parents and Self referrals from young people. All referrals are reviewed on a daily basis and triaged as appropriate. Depending on presentation, young people may be seen by Alder Hey CAMHS, or signposted to one of our 3rd sector partners.
