Local Offer

During the settle in period you have the opportunity for you and your child to meet the Manager and your child's keyperson. During this time you will also share information regarding the things your child enjoys and is able to do already. We will work closely with you at all times to track your childs progress and ensure they are reaching their developmental milestones.

If you have concerns or your child is not reaching their milestones we will work together to ensure your child is supported appropriatley. This may mean we put alternative things into place and use Play plans to record progress. We work closely with the onsite Children Centre and other professionals who can offer expert advice, including Speech and language team, Educational Psycology service and and SENISS.

We are active members of the Liverpool Consortia where we can access advice and guidance and also funding for extra support needed.

We have a trained Special Needs Co-ordinator who works closely with Tracey Bowyer who also runs a charity that supports children and families with Neurodevelopmental disorders. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge to enable her to appropriately support children and families who may require additional support and advice.

We have regular Parent meeting days to enable you to spend time with your childs keyperson to discuss your childs achievements,or any concerns but also encourage daily converstions when dropping off and picking up your child. We encourage parents/carers to input information into their childs learning journeys via 'Parent observation sheets' and share and celebrate any progress made. We also have Parent Stay & Play sessions, Graduation services and Christmas parties.

Transition to school is well planned and we ensure children are prepared and ready for the next stage in their education.
