Oakfield House School
Oakfield House School is an inclusive independent school for boys and girls that need additional caring support to achieve their potential. We use a ‘nurture’ approach in supporting our pupils to improve their communication, regulate their behaviour and improve their motivation to learn. This has led us to have a very high success rate of resolving pupil difficulties and returning pupils back to local authority provision to successfully continue their education after their time with us.
Oakfield is registered for 36 pupils from 5 – 16 and our pupils have a range of issues including SEBD, ASC and a range of emotional issues. As a small school we model ourselves on a ‘family’ where every child is seen as an individual and is valued for their unique contribution to school life. We teach cooperation and respect for others along with building a pupil’s self-confidence and self-esteem.
