Support for young people with disabilities applying for Higher Education

Liverpool is often described as a city of students. This description not only reflects the choice in educational opportunities in and around the region but also the opportunities the city presents for all young people to engage in a wealth of different  cultural, social, religious and historical experiences.  Universities provide additional support for young people with disabilities. Financial support for students with disabilities

You may be eligible for additional financial support while you are studying. Disabled Students’ Allowances are grants to pay for the extra costs you may have as a result of your disability. These grants do not have to be paid back.

Student Finance England is a service provided by the Student Loans Company on behalf of the government. The link to a guide below from Student Finance England tells you everything you need to know about Disabled Students Allowances.
