Liverpool Parent and Carers - LivPaC

We are parents/carers and grandparents of children with disabilities/special educational needs.  We have many skills and qualities.  We are caring and good listeners, patient, positive, realistic and honest.

Our aim is to involve and support parents and carers through working together, empowering each other and being advocates, but also working with professionals so that we can get improved access and better services for our children and families.

We work with families of children and young people from 0 - 25.

We represent the views of families either from a personal perspective or by advocating for others

Provide training for parents / services with workshops.

Facilitate events for sharing information and participation with Services.

Support other groups in their own areas and support Parents and Carers setting up their own group.

Empower parents and carers to have a voice and enable them to negotiate the special needs system and the new changes through awareness and confidence training.

We hold coffee mornings the 1st Tuesday of the month and we also hold and coffee evening either Tuesdays or Thursdays,  dates and times are on our Facebook page

LivPaC will be working in partnership with De La Salle Academy
